Water जल

Ap (अप) is the Vedic Sanskrit term for Water, The element water is also associated with Chandra or the Moon and Shukra, who represent feelings, intuition and imagination.

Air वायु

Vayu (वायु) is a primary deity, who is the father of Bhima and the spiritual father of Lord Hanuman. As the words for air (Vayu) or wind (Pavana).

Fire अग्नि

Agni (अग्नि) is the god of fire and the acceptor of sacrifices for onward conveyance to other deities. He is ever-young because the fire is re-lit every day and is immortal.

Earth पृथ्वी

Prithvi (पृथ्वी) is the Sanskrit name for Earth. Prithvi is also called Dhra, Dharti, Dhrithri, meaning that which holds everything. Amongst lokas (worlds), it is also known as Bhu-Loka.

Space आकाश

Aakash (आकाश) means the basis of all things in the material world, the first material element created from the astral world. Its main characteristic is Shabda (sound), in Sanskrit, the word means “SPACE”, the first element in creation.
